Travel south to Sinharaja Rainforest fringe / Guided forest walk focusing on endemic plants and birdlife / Evening forest sound meditation / Overnight in Sinharaja region.

The Sinharaja Rainforest is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Sri Lanka’s last unspoiled tropical jungles. Go south to the edge of the rainforest. Take a guided walk in the woods that focuses on native wildflowers, birds, and the sounds of nature. A forest sound meditation at the end of the day can help you relax and feel the serene spirit of the rainforest. In the Sinharaja area, at night.

Morning trek to nearby waterfall / Mindful bathing and herbal wellness session / Afternoon relaxation / Overnight near Belihul Oya foothills.

Take a trip to a nearby waterfall to start your day. You can enjoy the lush surroundings there. To reconnect your body and mind with natural medicines, try a meditative bath and a herbal health program. Take it easy in the afternoon and enjoy the quiet of the Belihul Oya slopes. Nearby for the night.

Travel inland to Horton Plains border / Gentle trek along highland grasslands / Sunset meditation overlooking panoramic valleys / Overnight in Horton Plains region.

Go inland to the edge of Horton Plains, which is known for its foggy highland grasslands and beautiful views. Take a leisurely walk along magnificent trails, soaking in the expansive views and the peace and quiet of the plateau. At the end of the day, meditate at sunset while looking out over huge valleys. This will help you connect with the highland spirit. Stay the night at the Horton Plains region.

Scenic drive to Knuckles Mountain foothills / Guided mountain walk with forest bathing and breathwork exercises / Afternoon wellness session in nature / Overnight in Knuckles region.

The Knuckles Mountain foothills are a UNESCO-listed biosphere reserve with a lot of plants and animals. Take a guided hike in the mountains that involves forest bathing and breathing exercises to help your body and mind work together. In the afternoon, you’ll have a wellness treatment in nature that will help you relax and be in the moment. In the Knuckles area, overnight.

Journey east to Mahiyanganaya countryside / Canoe meditation on Sorabora Lake / Afternoon reflection and quiet immersion by the lake / Overnight in Mahiyanganaya.

Go east to the quiet countryside of Mahiyanganaya. Do a canoe meditation on Sorabora Lake, which is tranquil and beautiful. You can float on the still water and see the wonderful surroundings. Spend the afternoon in profound thought, enjoying the quiet and the connection with nature. Stay in Mahiyanganaya for the night.

07

Travel south to the southeastern coast / Gentle walk along a secluded beach / Sunset sound therapy and meditation / Overnight near Tangalle.

Head south to a peaceful beach getaway near Tangalle. Take your time walking down a beach that hasn’t been touched. Feel the soft sand and the ocean breeze. At sunset, as you listen to rhythmic sounds from the coast and practice being present, end the day with sound therapy and meditation. Close to Tangalle overnight

Private transfer back to Colombo airport along scenic southern expressway / Optional stop at a coastal viewpoint or turtle conservation project / End of tour

Leave Colombo and take a private vehicle back to Bandaranaike International Airport along the lovely southern expressway. You can take last-minute shots at a beach viewpoint or travel to a turtle conservation project to get a closer look at Sri Lanka’s marine life. The end of the wellness trip, which made you feel better and more motivated.
